Hapeee aims to help you on your mental health journey and it’s here to give you some tools that might guide you along the way.

The Problem

Mentally self-aware millennials and gen zs want a better understanding of their emotions and feelings because they are getting increasingly interested in their mental wellbeing but lack the proper tools to improve and monitor them to work on themselves effectively.

The Solution

Hapeee aims to help the users, who are mentally self-aware people, have a better understanding of their emotions and feelings.

Users can share their feelings with people who might be going through the same as them, reach for help in whatever level they feel comfortable, track their ups and downs, and identify triggers in their mood and behaviour through the assistance of tests and tips.

By ensuring these features, we can provide the users with the tools they lack in their environments and day to day life, to have a better mental health and a more peaceful life.

Role and Timing

Role: UX/ UI Designer alongside Paulina Labastidas

Tools used: Figma, Photoshop, Figjam

Timeline: 10 day

Challenge and Goals

How people can adopt and commit to a health-improving routine?

  • The app can address any aspect of personal well-being.

  • The app should monitors the users’ progress and encourages them to adopt a healthier lifestyle.

  • Users must retain control over their personal data (GDPR Compliance).

  • The user interface should reflect a new, fresh, updated image aligned with the Daily Health Conference values.

Quantitative User Research

We sent a survey to get an idea of what the user target is going to be and how to prepare the user interview guide. We got over a hundred responses of the survey.

Qualitative User Research

We interviewed 8 possible users of Hapeee: young people between the ages of 25-50, that struggled or is currently struggling with their mental health. Also people who is not sure about what is happening to them.

Some of the challenges we faced was the misinformation about mental health and the resistance of a percentage of population to learning about mental health.
